Mohammad Abdul Hannan is working as Chairman and Additional Director at the Department of Law and IQAC, BGC Trust University Bangladesh respectively. At the same time, he is pursuing Ph.D. (Ph.D. Fellow) at Binary University, Malaysia on Environmental Principles, Laws and their impacts and applications. Moreover, he is an enrolled Lawyer of both High Court Division, Bangladesh Supreme Court from 2017 and Chattogram Judges’ Court, Chattogram from April, 2012. Additionally, Mr. Hannan worked successfully as the Chairman-in-Charge at the Department of Law, BGC Trust University Bangladesh with utmost dedication and praiseworthy gestures to ensure Quality Education focusing on the fundamental attributes of the graduates for facing challenges of 21st Century Legal Education. Furthermore, he successfully completed and presented the Self Assessment Report (SAR) before external peer review experts as a member Self Assessment Committee under Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) authorized and funded by University Grants Commission of Bangladesh and World Bank respectively continued from June 18, 20l6 to May 28, 2018. More importantly, his area of research is International and national Environmental Laws, principles and their applications, Human Rights and Refugee Laws. His research articles have been published at peer-reviewed journals. Currently, he is working on Environmental Laws, Principles and Applications.

- Being enrolled as a Lawyer of High Court Division, Supreme Court of Bangladesh from January 01, 2017.
- Being enrolled as a Lawyer of Chattogram Judges’ Court, Chattogram from April 02, 2012.
- Worked as a member of Self Assessment Committee (SAC) of the Department of law of BGC Trust University Bangladesh under Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP).
- Worked as a rapporteur in the “ Round table discussion on environment protection: perspective Chittagong” conducted by Dr. Sikander Khan (Vice Chancellor, EDU) organized by Bangladesh Poribesh Andolon (BAPA) on 11 May 2012.
- Worked as a Consultant at a project of South Asian Institute of Advanced Legal and Human rights studies (SAILS) titled ‘A Field visit on human rights activities and alternative dispute resolution by NGO in Bangladesh
- Worked as a Team Leader of the workshop titled ‘Workshop on Legal profession and access to justice’ conducted jointly by Professor Md. Zakir Hussain and Dr. Uttam Kumar Das at SAILS
- Worked as an Apprentice lawyer in Chittagong Judges’ Court, Chittagong, under Advocate Md. Arif Uddin from 15 July 2011 to 10 January 2012.
