  • Munmun Biswas is an Assistant Professor at BGC Trust University Bangladesh Department of Computer Science and Engineering. She has currently finished more than 8 years of teaching experience. In her professional life, she has finished an extensive training program in applied research techniques and has published some outstanding research work in prestigious journals and conferences. She earned her B.Sc. and M.S. (Engg.) from the University of Chittagong and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at CUET. She has around 13 papers, posters, and abstracts published in various international journals. Her Google Scholar citation count is currently 146, while his h-index and i-index are 6 and 3, respectively. She has worldwide and national-level training and certifications in Big Data, Python, Deep Learning, and other areas. She is enthusiastic about computer vision, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, machine learning, and deep learning. She is presently a faculty member for the BGCTUB IEEE Student branch and the president of the CSE Sports Club.

    Areas of Expertise

    1. Computer Vision: One of our main strengths as humans is reflected in our ability to make decisions and make sense through what we see in the real world. Providing machines and computers with this kind of visual understanding would allow them the same strength.
    2. AI (Artificial Intelligence): AI can be achieved by reading the behavior of humans and using the results to develop intelligent systems. For example, they learn, make decisions and act in certain situations. Observing humans while problem-solving in simple tasks and using its results to develop intelligent systems.The overall research goal of artificial intelligence is to create technology that allows computers and machines to work intelligently. The general problem of simulating (or creating) intelligence is broken down into sub-problems.
    3.  NLP (Natural Language Processing): Natural Language Processing (NLP) allows machines to break down and interpret human language. It’s at the core of tools we use every day – from translation software, chatbots, spam filters, and search engines, to grammar correction software, voice assistants, and social media monitoring tools.
